Easy Monday

Happy Monday!!!
So today I have much better quality photos, despite the painfully awkward posing!

Today being Monday and the start to the week-before-the-week-before-spring-break (but who’s counting?), I wanted to be comfortable and casual. The weather is finally warming up here, it got into the seventies today, which means less clothing, and not in a tacky way.

Lets jump in before I ramble more!

Like I said, painfully awkward posing, awkward setting, but better lighting.

I made it easy today, pairing a light grey t-shirt that says ‘New York’ across the front, with a black skater skirt with faux leather lining the bottom. To dress it up I added a silver statement necklace that has a worn-in look and some simple black flats to keep it classy. Finally, because the color scheme was oh-so bland, I added a slight red-tinted lip, which really just tied everything together.

My shirt is from Forever 21 (surprise, surprise):

But in case you’re still immersed in the cold, I would definitely pair this outfit with a sweatshirt similar to this to stay warm:

Any crew neck would really work for this look and I’d pair it with black skinny jeans instead of a skirt!

The skirt is from PacSun, I couldn’t find the exact one, but here are some similar ones:

The shoes are Antonio Melani’s from Dillards, I couldn’t find the ones I have, but any black flats will work, here are some I found that I really like:

My necklace is from Forever 21, any statement necklace would really work with this, I would suggest sticking to more neutral tones when pairing it with a t-shirt or crew neck that’s printed:

Finally, the lipstick I wore was Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 250- Standout.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Monday and if not, I hope your Tuesday turns out better!

To the moon and back,
